Heidi Wessman

Heidi
Wessman Kneale is an author of moderate repute. She began
her writing career with the publication of a Fantasy poem in
1988 and has written all sorts of things ever since. Her
work has been published internationally, from the US and
Canada to Australia and Indonesia. She has written poetry,
short stories, magazine articles, columns and insurance
copy. Her short stories have appeared in
Borderlands and Abyss and
Apex and related non-fiction articles have
appeared in The International Review of Science
Fiction and Heliotrope. There are rumours
she's appeared in the Andromeda Spaceways Inflight
Magazine but these are unsubstantiated.
She has been a member of the Online Writing Workshop since its
first year, where she drives the Welcome Wagon. She holds a
Bachelor degree in Film and Music from the University of Utah.
As well as an author, she is an award-winning music
composer.

She currently lives in Australia
with her husband and two daughters who patiently put up with
her lack of domestic skills, her multitudinous music students
and her ongoing writing projects. Her official Day Job is as an
IT Support Officer for the local library. She also has a
passionate fondness for British actor Richard
Armitage.
